Open source Many software developers now wonder if they should use open source in their projects or not. Some people don’t feel comfortable by using a free, open source system for their programs to let anyone do whatever they want with them. In the other hand, the overall public has shown very interested, and highly friendly with this idea, as it brings a good number of benefits other software don’t bring. This is so notable, that in 2008 more than the eighty percent of the internet population was already using open source software. Now, according to studies, it is for sure that this percentage has grown more in the last years. It is enough to see the success of open source software developers to know that there are some clear advantages when using it.
