It is hard to come up with a concrete conclusion as this new version of HTML has some strong disadvantages; according to users’ testimonials.  People that own websites seem to be considering changing their source code to HTML5 instead of being parked with older versions of the code. However they also hesitate about the subject due to the incompatibility of the new code with older browsers, which is what scares website owners from adopting it.

Silverlight might surpass HTML5

SilverlightMicrosoft’s Silverlight is said to have features and capabilities which can surpass those provided by the HTML5 standard (which is yet to be fully completed). As applications like Silverlight and Flash provided users with Internet applications which enriched their experience, there had considerable speculations and debate over whether the completion of the HTML5 specification would end up with the doing away of such applications, as the need for them might not be felt then.
