Contemporary websites are a whole lot different than they used to be a few years back. Modern websites predominantly deal with heaps of media content. Besides, with the advent of compulsory integrated features such as built in ads, flash and rich multimedia content means designing a website can be a fairly tricky job even for a seasoned web developer. What makes the job even more demanding is aspect of space constraints. Developing a webpage extravagantly can have disastrous effects especially from a financial point of view. Content needs to be delivered in a precise and compact manner as on average a web surfer just spends a few seconds over a single website.

Firebug: Web Development at your Fingertips

FirebugCurrently Mozilla Firefox owns a 20% share of the web browser market share which makes it 2nd to only Internet Explorer. With more people using Firefox the company has began developing other tools for use as well. One of these programs is Firebug, which is a plug-in for the firefox browser that allows the user to debug, edit, and monitor websites CSS, HTML, DOM, and JavaScript. This program was designed by Joe Hewitt who was one of the founding members of Mozilla Firefox.
